Removing the LCD system information display panel

Use this information to remove the LCD system information display panel.

To remove the LCD system information display panel, complete the following steps:

The LCD system information display panel is available only on the eight 2.5-inch-drive server model with the advanced media cage.

1. Read the safety information that begins on Safety and Installation guidelines.
2. Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables, if necessary.
3. Remove the cover (see Removing the cover).
4. Remove the media cage (see Removing the media cage).
5. Disconnect the cable from the back of the LCD system information display panel.
6. 1 Pull the tab on the LCD retention bracket to the left to disengage the retention bracket. 2 Rotate the retention bracket to remove it from the server.

7. Carefully remove the LCD system information display panel out of the LCD panel assembly.

8. If you are instructed to return the LCD system information display panel, follow all packaging instructions, and use any packaging materials for shipping that are supplied to you.
