Removing the security bezel

Use this information to remove the security bezel.

Note

Installation of the security bezel is to limit access for increased security.

To remove the security bezel, complete the following steps:

1. Read the safety information that begins on Safety and Installation guidelines.
2. If necessary, turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables.
3. Use the key to unlock the security bezel to the open position.

4. Press the release latch and rotate the security bezel away from the chassis.

5. If you are instructed to return the security bezel, follow all packaging instructions, and use any packaging materials for shipping that are supplied to you.
