Removing the rear two hard-disk-drive kit

The server comes with one rear two hard-disk-drive kit.

See the Lenovo ServerProven website for a list of hard disk drives that you can use with the server.

To remove the rear two hard-disk-drive kit, complete the following steps:

1. Read the safety information that begins on page Safety and Installation guidelines.
2. Turn off the server and peripheral devices, and disconnect the power cord and all external cables.
3. Remove the cover (see Removing the cover).
4. Grasp the kit at the front tab and rear edge and lift it to remove it from the server. Place the kit on a flat, static-protective surface.
