Replacing the operator information panel assembly

Use this information to replace the operator information panel assembly.

To install the operator information panel, complete the following steps.

1. Read the safety information that begins on Safety and Installation guidelines.
2. Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables, if necessary.
3. Remove the cover (see Removing the cover).
4. Remove the bezel (see Removing the bezel).
5. Align the assembly on the bezel and install the two screws.
   Note

   Use the hex screw driver to install the two screws.

6. Replace the bezel (see Replacing the bezel).
7. Connect the operator information cable from the system board to the rear of the assembly (see Cabling operator information panel).

8. Replace the cover (see Replacing the cover).
9. Slide the server into the rack.
10. Reconnect the power cords and any cables that you removed.
11. Turn on the peripheral devices and the server.
