Configure the ThinkAgile CP connection

Before you can begin using the Migration Manager to migrate VMs, you need to add a ThinkAgile CP Developer API token so that the application can communicate with the ThinkAgile CP platform.

In the ThinkAgile CP Cloud Controller management portal, you can obtain an API token under Developer Options, which is described in Manage developer options.

1. After you log on to Migration Manager, click Settings in the top navigation bar.

2. On the Settings page, click ThinkAgile CP Connection.

3. On the Change ThinkAgile CP Connection page, enter the following information:

   • Portal Host - Your ThinkAgile CP Cloud Controller management portal host address.

   • Port - The port number on which to communicate.

   • API Token - The API token from ThinkAgile CP Cloud Controller, which you can easily copy and paste in this API Token field. For more details about API Tokens, see Manage developer optionshttps://thinkagile.lenovofiles.com/help/topic/thinkagile_cp/manage-developer-options.html

   • Test Connection on Save - Selecting this option will verify the connection works when you click Save.

4. Click Save.

If you need to change the connection information at any time, click the Settings menu, make your changes, and then click Save.
