Operating systems
You can use Lenovo XClarity One to deploy the operating system to bare metal devices.
Available operating systems in XClarity One
XClarity One does not maintain the repository of operating systems. You need to manually download and import operating-system files that you want to deploy in your organization.
You can view the list of available operating systems by clicking the Lifecycle management tab in the context menu from the Device management view, click the Operating systems tab. Operating systems are organized by operating-system type, version, profile, and then base images and device drivers.
To manually import images, click the Add icon (
) from the Operating systems page. For more information, see Operating-systems repository.

Operating system details
You can view the current operating system version and settings on a specific device and the compliance status based on the template that is assigned to the device. From the Devices management view, click the Managed devices panel title to show the Managed devices page, select a device, click Configuration in the context menu, and then click Operating systems in the context menu.
Compliant. The target operating-system version in the template matches the one on the device.
Not Compliant. The target operating-system version in the template does not match the one on the device.
Calculating. XClarity One is calculating the compliance result for the device.
Not applicable. The target operating-system version is not imported in to XClarity One or is not supported by the device.
