This topic provides thermal rules for the server.

Server models with front drive bays only
Server models with rear drive bays
Server models with GPUs

Note

When ThinkSystem 256GB TruDDR5 4800MHz (8Rx4) 3DS RDIMM-A v1 is used, the following requirements should be met:

Ambient temperature at sea level ≤ 25°C
CPU power ≤300W
AOC ≤ 25 GB
The performance fan and performance heat sink are installed.
The front backplane, rear backplane, rear GPU are not installed.

Abbreviations used in tables below are defined as follows:
