Drive uncertified

Important
  • Refer to your hardware documentation or contact a Technical Support Engineer for information on which drives are certified for your storage array.

  • You can replace the uncertified drive while the storage array is receiving I/O.

  • Make sure the replacement drive has a capacity equal to or greater than the uncertified drive you will remove.

CAUTION
Electrostatic discharge can damage sensitive components

Always use proper anti-static protection when handling components. Touching components without using a grounding wrist strap may damage equipment.
