Reserved capacity security incompatible

A security enabled volume is currently associated with reserve capacity on an unsecured volume group or pool.

Important

  • Reserved capacity is automatically created when copy service operations, such as snapshots or asynchronous mirroring, are enabled on a volume.

  • Reserved capacity should not be less secure than its associated volume.

Recovery Steps​

  1. Is the affected pool or volume group shown in the Details area secure-capable?

    • If yes, go to step 2.

    • If no, contact your Technical Support Engineer.

  2. Enable security on the affected pool or volume group.

    1. Go to Storage > Pools & Volume Groups.

    2. Highlight the pool or volume group shown in the Details area and select Enable Security and enable security on the pool or volume group.

  3. Select Recheck to ensure the problem has been resolved.
